Design Assistant | SHERIDAN | Pyrmont
We're looking for an action- and detail-orientedDesign Assistantto join our Sheridan design team
You will support the development of high-quality, commercially focused product ranges.
Your primary focus will be on the technical and operational aspects of the design development process.
You'll work closely with designers and cross-functional teams to build and maintain spec packs, manage product data, track samples, and support the end-to-end product lifecycle through our PLM system.
You'll also contribute to market and trend research to ensure our products stay relevant and inspiring for our customers.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on process and precision but also enjoys supporting the design development process in a commercial environment.
What You'll Do
Support design execution across the full product lifecycle
Manage product specs, PLM systems, samples, and critical paths
Conduct market and trend research and create seasonal mood boards
Assist in packaging briefs and vendor communication
Maintain studio admin, including sorting, archiving, and cataloguing seasonal ranges
What You'll Bring
Tertiary qualification in design, textiles, or a related field
Adobe Creative Suite skills and solid Microsoft Office knowledge
Detail-oriented mindset with strong time management skills
Great communication and collaboration skills across multiple stakeholders
A passion for homewares, textiles, and the Sheridan brand
