We are after a MALE support worker who is able to take our client out 2-3 hrs per day from Cumberland Hospital for community access. The start time is your choice but MUST be sometime between 12PM-4PM. The hours may increase if the client is comfortable with you, sessions could be up to 4 hours if you are both comfortable. The role is available 7 days per week and we are doing this across two support workers.

We are currently looking for someone with availability on:
Thursday ($36 an hour), Friday ($36 an hour), Saturday ($45 an hour), Sunday ($52 an hour)
- Alternatively if you have a different combination of days available, please let me know however we do need someone who can also do weekdays and not just weekends. _We will share the 7 days across two workers.

This is a pretty straight forward role, we are after a male support worker who can be a good influence on the client as they take him out into the community. This could involve grabbing lunch, going on drives, going to the shops, movies etc. The client was in for mental illness but is medicated, very friendly and no risk at all - he is ready for discharge but he needs to wait a few months while the NDIS organises housing for him.
