**_Overview:_**

Our client's Technology Sanctions team is seeking an experienced Senior Analyst Engineer. This will be a hands-on leading role that will enable software engineering and IT Operation services to meet global sanctions business requirements.

A strong focus is placed on development and operations of current and new services, this includes analysis of business requirements, design, build, and operationalisation of new business solutions and functions (software, services) with an innovative approach.

**Responsibilities of the role**:

- Ensuring that systems/services are developed within agreed budgets and time frames meeting design requirements, security standards, compliance, and control requirements
- Involvement and facilitating in team agile rituals, work decomposition and stories writing

**Technical skills**:

- Experience in AWS or other cloud infrastructure platform and related services
- Advanced skills in one or more of the major programming languages, scripting languages & frameworks (Java, Spring-boot, Apache Camel, Shell, Python)
- Knowledgeable in REST APIs, stateful API, microservices and event streaming
- Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment using supporting industry tools
- Advanced skills and knowledge of one or more of the databases (relational and non-relational) such as SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, DynamoDB
- Knowledge of Payments systems and/or Screening systems will be valuable
- NetReveal Sanctions will be valuable
