**ROLE DETAILS**

**Location**:Preston, VIC

**Days**:Tuesdays and Thursdays (preferred, but Wednesdays could be one of the days instead)

**Hours**:9am - 5pm (or similar)

**Child**:7 month old

**Pay rate**:$36-38/hr + Super (casual employment, negotiable based on experience)

**Start**:ASAP.

**ROLE REQUIREMENTS**:

- 2+ years of experience with babies/young children (professional or personal)
- Valid Working With Children Check
- Valid First Aid and CPR
- Living in Melbourne with the rights to work the required hours
- 2 exceptional references for us to call.

**ROLE DESCRIPTION**
These parents are seeking a reliable and experienced caregiver for their infant son twice a week (more hours may be available occasionally). They want him to have caregivers who enjoy reading and playing with him in his own home during the early years. No driving is required.

To be the right person for this role, it's important you have experience introducing solids to babies. This little one has recently started this transition and parents are taking it slow as he develops an interest in food. You should also be comfortable providing gentle and responsive support, particularly with sleep routines. Contact naps are not uncommon, and parents are ok with this - even if they result in less time for the Nanager to help with extra tasks.

The primary focus of this role is the baby and his needs. The parents would also like some help with simple meal prep (for them, not just baby) and laundry when time permits.
