Ventia is currently seeking a dedicated _Prison Cleaner_ to join our team at Karreenga Prison in Lara.
This position offers consistent morning shifts, with the potential to transition into a permanent role.

**Position**: Prison Cleaner
**Employment Type**: Casual _(with potential for permanent placement after a few months)_
**Hourly Rate**: $31.21 plus Superannuation
**Location**: Karreenga Prison, Lara, VIC
**Working Hours**: Monday to Friday from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM
- Additional hours available until 2:30 PM as required_

**Duties include, but are not limited to**:
Cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the prison, including offices, reception, workshops, bathrooms, communal areas, and foyers
- Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, staircases, and surfaces
Bio-cleaning might also be required at times

**To be considered for this role, you must**:
Have a reliable vehicle and a valid Driver's License
- Be able to kneel, lift, perform the required duties, and stand for 4 hours or more
Provide a recent National Police Check (under 6 months) and a valid Working with Children Card
Successfully pass a medical assessment, as well as random drug and alcohol tests
