About the Role
As the Group Category Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to optimise products, drive revenue growth, and enhance the overall customer experience.
**Description**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive category strategy for outdoor and travel gear, aligning with overall business objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Manage a diverse and appealing product range that meets the unique needs and desires of adventure and travel enthusiasts.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from product selection and introduction to inventory management and clearance strategies.
- Monitor and optimise inventory levels to minimise stockouts and excess inventory.
- Set and achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Gather customer feedback and use insights to make data-driven decisions for category improvement.
- Ensure that all products comply with relevant regulations and quality standards.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to uphold the Rhino Rack standards.

- Proven experience in category management, preferably in the adventure and travel industry.
- Strong understanding of adventure and travel market trends and consumer behaviour.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Passion for adventure and travel is highly desirable.
