We are seeking an Intermediate Accountant with strong technical capabilities, looking for an opportunity to continue to grow and develop both technical and non-technical skills.You have commenced your CA or CPA qualification, with a few years of experience in public practice.
You thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and will have demonstrated capability to:Prepare complex Tax Returns & Financial Reports for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships & IndividualsManage delegated jobs within given timeframes under the direction of the Team Manager & Client DirectorHandle client queries via email and phone with sound communicationTake initiative in the delivery of jobs to timeframes and in budgetResponsibilitiesPrepare complex Tax Returns and Financial Statements for a range of entitiesManage and deliver assigned work within agreed timeframesCommunicate with clients to resolve queries and provide updatesCollaborate with the team to meet deadlines and budget targetsQualifications & SkillsDegree-qualified accountant with a minimum of 4 years' experience in a public practiceDemonstrated critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skillsProven ability to manage timeframes and communicate clearlyProficient in Xero, MYOB and converting data into Financial StatementsStrong knowledge of Tax & GST legislationStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage your time and work independentlyEagerness to learn and develop professionallyCommenced CA or CPA studiesBenefits & TrainingYour future is our focus — access to training and opportunities to further career and knowledgeA fun and inclusive culture with social and wellbeing initiativesDiverse range of benefits including flexible working, salary packaging, and RDO trialsOn-the-job, internal and external training to develop technical, business, and personal skillsBe part of a converged firm delivering integrated servicesWorkplace with environmental and community considerationsCompany informationTo learn more about us go to levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeIndustries: AccountingLocationMelbourne, Victoria, Australia
