ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently on the hunt for an inspiring leader, a Service Director to join our action packed Before and After-School Care service, located in Baldivis WA. This is a rare full time opportunity for someone looking to manage and oversee a large service. Your 38 hour week will be made up of rostered operational hours and then non contact admin hours. Admin hours can be flexible each day to suit you and used inbetween operational hours through out the week.

The Service Director role is an important role in providing our services to the schools who partner with us and the families who entrust their children to our care. As a Service Director, The role includes being the Educational Leader and Nominated Supervisor for the service ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework. In leading and developing your people, you and the team will build a sense of trust within the service and model behaviours that support each child to grow and achieve their developmental outcomes.

Educational Leader
- Practice continuous professional learning and development and share their knowledge and insight related to best practice within the Early Learning Sector to all their educators.
- Guide educators to implement the approved learning frameworks

Nominated Supervisor
- Compliance with obligations under the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Camp Australia policies and processes.
- Lead educators in the service to ensure the provision of a safe environment including adherence to VSHAPE.
- Ensure the service documentation and resources are in place
- Support all educators and services to maintain and excel in meeting compliance standards and expectations.
- Report incidents to the RegionalManager within the required timelines
- Complete department notifications

WHAT DO YOU NEED?
- Completed or studying towards a childcare related Diploma or equivalent
- Paid NSW WWCC (or willing to obtain)
- First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates (or willing to obtain)
- Availability 6.30am-8:30am and 2:10pm-6.00pm Monday to Friday
- flexible admin time will make up the 38 hour weekly contract
