About the roles

Faggs Mitre 10 requires experienced Trade Sales Assistants to join our Internal Sales Team based at our Belmont and South Geelong Stores. As a Trade Sales Assistant, you will be the face of our business. You will need to be a clear communicator, highly approachable and an effective team player. You will deliver excellent customer service, develop strong relationships with customers and be focused on order fulfilment, stock replenishment and store presentation.

**Trade Sales Assistant duties will include**:

- Providing service and advice to customers on products and services the business provides
- Prepare customer quotes, input into system and follow up through to order delivery
- Advise and update customers on order status including backordered items

Skills and experience
- Experience in a building supplies environment or similar business would be highly advantageous.
- Retail and customer service experience
- Timber knowledge or previous trade experience.
- The ability to multi-task and work independently as well as part of a team.
- A desire to challenge yourself and show initiative in your work.
- Excellent customer service skills and experience as you are the face of the business.
