**About the Company**
Davidson Recruitment is a preferred supplier for the Government sector and have strong partnerships within Local, State and Federal Government. We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Finance Officer to commence a 6 month contract with possible extension located in the Brisbane CBD area.

**About the Role**
As an Accounts Processing Finance professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient management of financial transactions within Major Projects Delivery. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of financial processing, data management, and compliance to maintain the financials of Major Project Delivery.
- Monitor the Finance mailbox for incoming invoices and related documents.
- Review and categorise invoices, ensuring they are complete and compliant with policies
- Review / maintain vendor and client master records including creations / amendments
- Verify available budget and seek appropriate endorsement.
- Assist in financial audits by providing necessary documentation and data.
- Ensure compliance with departmental policy and procedures.

**About You**
We are looking for someone that has a strong background in Finance and is capable to work in a fast paced every changing environment. Further preferred requirements below:

- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
