Labourpower Trade are seeking an experienced Fitter Operators for full time work in the Can Manufacturing Industry based in Smithfield.

This is a Permanent Placement on a 7 day Rotating Roster - 2 x Day Shift, 2 x Night Shift, 4 x Days off (12 hour shift times).

Our client are a global leader in sustainable packaging solutions - Seeking Fitter Operators to operate and maintain machinery and carry out repairs within the plant.

**Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to**:

- Undertaking repairs and General Maintenance to Machinery & Plant equipment
- Trouble shooting, Fault finding & component changing
- Identifying and implementing ways to improve process
- Machine Operating

**To be successful for this position**:

- 2 years Fitter Operating experience or in a similar position - Highly Desirable
- MUST have either a Mechanical, Machinist or boilermaker background with recognised trade qualification
- Experience working in a manufacturing industry - Desirable
- Mechanically or technically minded
- Forklift ticket
- ADVANTAGE

MUST be able to pass a full medical, Drug & Alcohol.

Reliability and a Positive "can do" attitude is a must in this role, as our client is currently going through their busy period, and requires attendance and work ethic to be of high calibre.
