The Event Content Assistant at Mumbrella is required to work collaboratively with the Event Content Manager and wider events team on a full-time basis, to assist in the successful creation, implementation, and execution of all Mumbrella events, examining issues related to media and marketing across industries such as finance, travel, publishing, automotive and retail.
**Responsibilities**
- Ideating content across Mumbrella's range of events and summits
- Working with event speakers and participants to write summaries for each session
- Scheduling the program for each event and ensuring they are adhered to
- Proofing and fact-checking event content, EDMs and other event material
- Liaising with the sales team to ensure all agreed entitlements are delivered upon and long-term relationships with sponsors are established
- Liaising with awards judges and assist in the running of awards judging, both online and in person
- Presenting on-stage and facilitating panel discussions and Q&A
- Any other event content tasks as required
**About You**
We're looking for a commercially savvy, creative, driven Event Content Assistant. Reporting to the Event Content Manager, you will be proactive, adaptable and flexible in your approach in assisting in the curation and development of event content. As a great communicator you will demonstrate a high attention to detail, capable of organising and prioritising your responsibilities through your excellent time-management skills, working to tight deadlines and managing multiple tasks simultaneously. You will have a positive attitude and be self-motivated and able to interact effectively with a number of different internal and external stakeholders.
**To ensure your success in this role you will have**:
- The ability to work in a small, busy team
- A relevant business/tertiary qualification (preferred)
- An interest in and knowledge of Australia's media and marketing industry
- Impeccable time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritise tasks efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to travel interstate when required
- Innovative and strategic thinker and problem solver
- Experience in public speaking and presenting to an audience
