Salary per hour (exc. super): $25.63 - $29.05

**Role Description**

The RUSOM assists with the provision of woman-centred, family orientated, evidence based care within a multidisciplinary team environment. Under the delegation and supervision of a midwife, the RUSOM works collegially with other health care professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for mothers and infants in their care.

**The Team**

Women's Ward and Birthing Suite is located on Level 3 of the new Bendigo Hospital. The team provides care to women and families from across the Loddon Mallee region and support approximately 1600 births per year. We offer a number of antenatal, intrapartum and postpartum care options including caseload midwifery, midwifery led antenatal care and obstetric care. Our service is supported by Lactation Consultants, Maternity Support clinicians, Social Workers, Allied Health, Midwifery Home care, Midwifery Education Team and Clinical Support Midwives.
