Snowtown Hospital
Snowtown is a peaceful town with friendly faces and a thriving agricultural community, situated in the Mid North region of South Australia, just 150 km from Adelaide.
It lies on the main road and rail routes connecting Adelaide and Perth and is surrounded by the picturesque Barunga Gap and Hummocks Ranges.
This warm and friendly town offers wonderful community facilities, including sporting and recreation grounds, a community swimming pool, as well as a school and childcare services.
It is conveniently located near the world-famous Clare Valley wine region and within easy reach of the township of Clare and the beautiful beaches of the Copper Coast.
Snowtown Hospital has 3 acute beds and 5 MPS aged care beds in the Hospital Building and 19 aged care beds in the recently refurbished Lumeah Home.
All rooms in both buildings are single with ensuites.
Services offered include 24-hour accident and emergency, acute inpatient services, Palliative care, and residential aged care.
The hospital also supports visiting GP, and Allied Health services.
