As we grow, we continue to value the dedication and passion of our team, which is why we're seeking a dedicated **Human Resources & Payroll Advisor** to join us in this exciting journey.

**About the Role**:
This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional with experience in light manufacturing (ideally), particularly with OH&S and modern awards interpretation.

In this flexible, part-time role, you'll manage HR functions, handle payroll, and support our ongoing growth. Working closely with the Senior Management Team, including the CEO, you'll help shape and sustain our culture while ensuring compliance and operational effectiveness.

The role offers room to take on additional responsibilities and can potentially grow into a full-time position.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Employee Relations & Engagement**
- Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns.
- Foster a positive work environment and support engagement initiatives to maintain a motivated workforce.
- **Payroll & HR Administration**
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- **Policy, Compliance & Performance Management**
- Ensure HR policies and practices are up-to-date and effectively communicated.
- Assist in implementing performance appraisal processes and support managers in performance-related matters.
- Oversee modern awards and OH&S compliance and initiatives, preferably within a light manufacturing environment.
- **HR Data & Reporting**
- Maintain HR databases and generate reports to support strategic planning.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data to improve organisational effectiveness.
- **Recruitment & Onboarding**
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and manage the recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Develop job descriptions and manage hiring efforts to attract top talent.
- **Training & Development**
- Identify coaching and training opportunities for staff and management.
- Design and execute training initiatives to support employee development and enhance organisational capabilities.
- Support the continuous professional growth of the team through structured learning programs.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, preferably within light manufacturing.
- OH&S experience, particularly within a light manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of modern awards and their interpretation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a high level of discretion and integrity.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
