An established afternoon only service, you'll be working 20.5 hours a week during the school term, with the option of picking up extra hours (or have a break) during the school holidays. Working Monday to Friday 2:30pm - 6:00pm with an additional 3 hours paid admin each week, your service has attendance numbers between 25 - 40 children (10 - 15 ELC children in attendance).
Your service operates out of a shared environment that has been purpose-built for OSHClub, with a strong consistent team of an Assistant Coordinator and 2 permanent Educators. You'll also be paid an additional $1,000 ($500 commencement bonus paid at 1 month and another $500 loyalty bonus paid at 12 months).
About the role
Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service. Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have: Enjoy working with kids Strong and clear communication Team player with a desire to become a service leader Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it) and a state check for working with children Obtained or studying towards a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA Australian work rights
