**What is the role?**

**Experienced Tree Worker**: The key responsibility of this role is to operate an Elevated Work Platform safely and effectively as well as operating other handheld tools to ensure the safe trimming and dismantling of trees. You will rotate throughout the day between duties such:

- maintenance checks
- operating the Elevated Work Platform
- safety observing
- chainsaw operation
- conducting risk assessments

**Climbing Arborist**: The key reasonability of this role is to ensure the efficient and effective safe trimming or dismantling of trees through safe climbing techniques and safe work practices. You will rotate throughout the day between duties such as:

- Performing safe and competent climbing techniques
- Clearing vegetation around/near powerlines
- Conducting risk assessments
- Establishing and implementing vegetation drop zones
- Operating an Elevated Work Platform
- Safely operating plant and chainsaw equipment
- Clearing vegetation debris from worksites

**Do you have?**
- A current drivers' licence **(essential)**:

- MR/HR Truck licence **(highly regarded)**:

- An Elevated Work Platform licence **(highly regarded)**:

- Chainsaw operation qualification (Certificate Level 1 & 2) **(essential)**:

- Cert III in Arboriculture or Horticulture is desirable
- The ability to work safely
- The flexibility to Live Away from Home for up to 2 weeks at a time if required

**Great, but not essential**:

- White card
- First aid/CPR
