**Mineral Technologies** is seeking an entry level mechanical **Quality Inspector** to support **Quality Control** within the Factory and our supply chain. Reporting to the QC Team Leader, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Ensuring safety and quality are always at the forefront
- Identifying quality and production improvements and preparing inspection report
- Completing Inspection and Test Plans (ITP's) for the manufactured and procured products
- Decision making on dispositions of inspected products. First-off and/or source inspections at Vendor premises
- Maintaining calibrated equipment suitable production needs
- Attending site visits for product inspections
- Potential overseas & interstate travel

**ABOUT YOU**

True interest in starting a career in Quality Control
- Previous welding experience with knowledge of welding standards and ability to read drawings is desirable, however not essential
- Hold a valid Drivers Licence - essential for supplier and sub-contractor visits
- Basic computer skills
- Basic use of measuring equipment i.e. Verniers and micrometres
- Commitment to safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues
- Good communication skills, strong work ethic and be able to work well as part of a team and independently
