About the RoleThis role supports the Quality and Compliance team in internal and external audit activity, quality improvement, corrective and preventive action related to risks, issues, quality losses and non-conformance.
The Queensland Tissue Bank (QTB) works with cadaveric and non-cadaveric tissue donors of all ages. Roles that do not have direct responsibilities associated with these functions are likely to be exposed to discussions and/or requests to support elements of this work.
- Under the supervision of the Manager, Quality and Compliance produce, improve and maintain quality systems for the QTB. - Specifically ensure compliance with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) code of Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) and Biologicals Framework. - Assist in the evaluation of business processes by analysing information provided by quality systems processes, especially internal audit and identified opportunities for quality improvement. Promote a positive work environment by modelling professional behaviour, promoting teamwork and collaboration with other staff and members of associated organ and tissue banking agencies.
