If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Australind, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.

In this role, you will

Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence
Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide

About Goodstart Australind

Goodstart Early Learning Australind is set in the centre of our family-friendly coastal community, close to local schools, shops, buses and main roads to make the daily drop-off and pick up easier and stress-free. We are a small centre but pride ourselves on being able to offer a more home-like environment and one on one care to the children so that they can grow and learn at their own pace.We offer a range of services to each family, including exciting educational programs for all age groups and a variety of events and activities that make us part of the great community we live in.

All of the rooms are set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning.

Our centre was assessed by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority and we received an overall rating of 'Exceeding'. This process is a National Framework, which rates all Childcare Centres across Australia against the National Quality Standards.
