**Parking Officer**
- Temporary position, opportunity for ongoing work
- Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
- $32.89 per hour

The prime focus of the position will be to provide liaison, enforcement, and education to the community in parking related matters. To effectively and efficiently administer and enforce compliance with parking legislation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Patrol and ensure compliance with the legislation, issuing notices where necessary
- Accurately record all activities and submit daily
- Patrol and supervise school crossings as required
- Assist in conducting prompt investigation and response to complaints received
- Report and obstructions on road or footways, and any obstructions concerning signage

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Qualification in regulatory field and/or experience in a parking enforcement role
- Current drivers' licence
- Current police check or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to use a computer and electronic infringement issuing device
- A working knowledge of current regulations and legislation relating to the position
- Collection of relevant facts and information relevant to an alleged breach
- Ability to manage time, set priorities and organise own work
