GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Relevant trade certificate
Post-trade experience in mining, heavy earth-moving, or hydraulic excavator industry
Alignment with our principles: Integrity, Accountability, Innovation, & Delivery
Current Standard 11, open driver's license, and relevant coal mining certifications
Ability to work safely and comply with Site Safety, Health, and Management System
ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Auto Electrician, you will:
Service, repair, and maintain mobile mining equipment following Thiess procedures
Perform general maintenance, breakdown repairs, component change-outs, and services
Conduct inspections to maximize equipment utilization
Install, wire, and test equipment to high standards
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent
Refrigerated handling license (advantageous)
Experience in mining, heavy earth-moving equipment, or hydraulic excavators
Experience with diagnostics and systems such as JDE, OEM systems, Cat, Cummins, Hitachi, Liebherr
