Ma Ma Creek State School is currently seeking a reliable and motivated cleaner to join our team for an 8-hour per week PM shift across Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Strong relationships between staff, students, and families create a supportive, personalised educational experience.About The RoleAs the Cleaner, you will contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the site by providing a high level of cleaning support, ensuring all duties are completed to an acceptable standard as outlined by your supervisor and in line with the approved school cleaning program.
You will work independently on the PM shift each Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, demonstrating kindness through polite and considerate interactions with team members, staff, and students.
Your persistence ensures the completion of tasks with consistency and care, while your resilience motivates you to work through challenges.
You will uphold respect by embracing inclusive practices aligned with the Department of Education's vision of Equity and Excellence and take responsibility by being accountable for your actions.
Strong communication and a collegial approach are essential, as you will coordinate with administration and maintain alignment with the cleaner responsible for the Monday and Tuesday PM shifts.There may be an option to increase the advertised times for the right applicant.Highly Desirable Skills, Experiences, And QualificationsHighly desirable skills, experiences, and qualifications for this role are:Previous cleaning experience is preferable but not essential.We are looking for reliable, hardworking and trustworthy individuals who have good attention to detail, can work independently, and take pride in their work.Must have a Blue Card or be willing to obtain one.Please refer to the Role Description (RD) for the mandatory qualifications required for this positionYour ResponsibilitiesAs the Cleaner, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:General cleaning duties - e.g. cleaning toilets, wiping down of surfaces, vacuuming, mopping.Must be physically fit and able to meet the demands of the job.
