**About the role**

**What you'll be doing**
- Safely operate elevated work platforms and other specialist tree care equipment to prune, thin, and remove trees and vegetation
- Identify and implement appropriate pruning techniques to maintain the health and aesthetics of trees
- Remove fallen or damaged trees and vegetation, and dispose of waste materials properly
- Maintain a high standard of work, adhering to all relevant safety regulations and industry best practices
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment and provide mentorship to less experienced colleagues

**What we're looking for**
- Excellent practical skills in the use of chainsaws, mulchers, chippers and other tree care equipment
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for identifying tree health issues
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A passion for the environment and a commitment to sustainable vegetation management

**Qualifications & experience**

Drivers License
A good work ethic and physically fit
Cert II ESI
EWP License

**Prefered but not essential**:
Medium Ridgid License
First Aid
Traffic Management

Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Annual bonus
- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates
- Signing bonus

Work Location: In person

Expected Start Date: 03/02/2025
