Role :
Senior Network Project Manager – Mobile Core Program
This role will work in the Customer's Network Engineering group, responsible for the core of the Customer's Existing Network, including 4G/5G packet, data & voice core, messaging services, real-time services, and cloud infrastructure.
This role is responsible for planning, overseeing, and leading projects from ideation through to completion. It is a full-time senior Project Manager role requiring interaction with internal and external stakeholders, often managing several projects simultaneously.
Job Responsibilities
Focus on completing projects efficiently and promptly
Manage several projects concurrently
Lead project meetings, steering committee meetings, and planning sessions
Coordinate staff and internal resources
Manage project progress and adapt work as required
Ensure projects meet deadlines
Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders
Design and sign off on contracts
Oversee all project documentation
Design risk mitigation plans
Conduct project reviews and create detailed reports for executives
Optimize and improve processes and overall approach as needed
Manage large and diverse teams
Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates should have five or more years of experience, preferably in the telecommunication industry, with formal qualifications in:
Engineering/IT
Management
Background in telecommunications core networks is preferred. The Project Manager should also possess the following skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage high-stress situations
Multi-tasking and managing various project elements
Leadership skills
Attention to detail
Conflict resolution skills
Technical understanding of telecommunications networks
