**About Lindsay Transport**:
Lindsay Transport is one of the largest transporters of fresh produce in Australia and specialises in temperature sensitive, time-slotted freight into Central Markets and major Grocery Distribution Centres. We operate a network of freight terminals with significant coldroom facilities across the east coast of Australia and employ a staff of approximately 1600 workers.

Reliability is the cornerstone in transport and to ensure reliability we need a fleet that is maintained to a high level. To help us achieve this objective, Lindsay Transport is currently seeking a junior to work in our Spare Parts team in Brisbane workshop.

**The primary duties of the role are**:

- Learning about spare parts and what is involved in being a spare parts interpreter
- Working hand on in the warehouse moving parts from one place to another
- Labeling of current and new stock
- Involved in stocktake process
- Computer data entry

**To be successful for this role applicants must**:

- Willing to learn a build a career in a workshop environment and commit to an apprenticeship
- Be prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening
- Have a reasonable level of mechanical knowledge
- Be prepared to work ocassional weekends
- Be well presented and professional
- have great verbal and written communication skills
- Have an moderate knowledge of computers and computer systems
- Able to do some manual work and heavy lifting at times
- Be able to persevere with a busy and challenging role
