About the role
Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will work autonomously to help support the General Counsel in managing a broad portfolio of legal, regulatory, and governance matters.
This role is integral to the firm's internal legal operations and risk management requiring a strong understanding of law firm practices, regulatory frameworks and ethical standards.

Duties
As a highly skilled, proactive andtrusted legal advisor, your main responsibilities are:
Adviseon governance, legal structures, partnerships, and commercial agreements.
Managelitigation, employment disputes, FOI requests, and subpoenas.
Overseerisk, insurance portfolios, claims handling, and policy renewals.
Draft and reviewcontracts, support procurement, and lead tender processes.
Leadon compliance, privacy, AML, modern slavery, audits, and legal training.
About you
To be successful in this role you will:
Bringcirca 4-6 years' PAE, ideally in a law firm or corporate legal department.
You will have experience in corporate commercial, mergers & acquisitions and/or commercial litigation.
Demonstrateexpertise in compliance, legal operations, and professional standards.
Applyexperience across litigation, digital, commercial, and contract law.
Utilisestrong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills to influence outcomes.
Showcaseattention to detail, tech-savviness, and a commitment to excellence.
