PEER is a not-for-profit industry-based Group Training Organisation (GTO) and a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in the construction industry. PEER employs over 400 GTO Apprentices & provides trade school training to another 600 of the highest quality private apprentices. PEER also works closely with over 75 South Australian High Schools to deliver Cert II qualifications to 500 Yr 11 and 12 VET Students.

PEER is seeking a* Marketing and Communications Trainee* to complete a 2yr Traineeship, which includes the completion of a Certificate IV in Marketing and Communications.

About the role:
Working alongside the Marketing and Communications Manager, your duties will include:

- Data entry and data management
- Assistance in organising key events
- Monitoring social media accounts and creating content
- Contributing ideas to marketing campaigns
- Updating marketing material content
- Ordering promotional items
- Liaising and strengthening relationships with suppliers, sponsors and clients
- Providing admin support to a variety of marketing programs

Essential Criteria:

- Strong time management skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Numerical skills, including compiling and analysing spreadsheets
- Ability to work autonomously and use initiative
- Content creation and design skills

Marketing and/or events, photoshop and social media experience will be highly regarded.
