We stand for innovation, smart solutions, and sustainability.Opportunity — We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join the team at our Bibra Lake site (WA).
ResponsibilitiesManage the maintenance team across the Bibra Lake siteResponsibly manage the site repairs and maintenance budgetPlay a key role in upholding safety and compliance standards on-siteWork collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external parties (such as OEMs, contractors and suppliers)Ensure that preventative and reactive maintenance is planned and executed effectively – to ensure reliability of the machinesUtilise data to conduct root cause analysis on breakdowns and implement continuous improvement strategies, to avoid reoccurrencesEffectively use on-site systems to ensure records and planning are accurately outlined (maintenance planning, contract management, storage of regulatory documents, overseeing spare parts on-site and ordering spare parts)QualificationsAn engineering degree or a relevant trade qualification (electrical or mechanical)Multiple years of experience in leading trade-qualified teams (fitters and electricians)Experience in managing preventative and reactive maintenance in a manufacturing environmentProject management and strong organizational skillsExperience in identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunitiesClear communication skills and the ability to empower the teamExperience using systems such as SAP would be idealAbout OpalOpal Fibre Packaging provides a full service offering in corrugated cardboard box packaging, from design and product testing through to supply chain integration.We embrace diversity in all its forms and look for curious individuals who thrive in an environment of change.How to applyApplications are now open to both internal and external candidates.
