**Tecside **is a specialist hire company seeking Trade Assistants to join our client located in Botany.

This is a casual position, Monday to Friday 38 hours per week.

Our client is the market leader in specialised engineering services to the stevedoring industry Australia wide. Their intimate knowledge of port machinery and our background in heavy industry allows us to offer innovative, safe and cost effective solutions to the terminal operator.

**This position includes**:

- Assisting the Fitters & Welders onsite
- Use of hand and power tool experience
- General labouring duties
- Adhere to all safety guidelines

**To be successful for this position**:

- Previous Trades Assistant experience - **REQUIRED**:

- Previously supported Maintenance Fitters & Welders
- EWP, Working at Heights and Confined space - Advantage
- Be reliable and excellent attendance for work
- MUST be able to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug & alcohol test

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: $39.50 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Licence/Certification:

- White Card (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
