**ABOUT OUR CLIENT**

Our client is an industry leading online marketplace. Due to a strong growth trajectory, they require a creative and driven Content Specialist to join their highly collaborative team.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As Content Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing the content strategy for all the marketplace websites, writing and overseeing consistent, compelling and engaging copy across all channels.

**KEY RESPONSIBILTIES**
- Build, own, and manage the content calendar from concept through execution;
- Oversee and execute production of engaging copy across blog, website, product, and marketing materials;
- Oversee optimisation of content assets and landing pages based on SEO best practices and brand guidelines;
- Work with external SEO agency to deliver on defined content briefs;
- Keep workflow in check through content process improvements;
- Coach and guide external writers to improve their writing;
- Analyse content performance and progress against team goals;
- Manage the content audit processes to help spot gaps in existing content, identify characteristics of high-performing content;
- Continuously assess the performance of content and use the data to iterate, improve and maximise results;
- Work collaboratively with other marketing channels and business functions to help achieve wider business goals;
- Maintain high standards and ensure only the best work is released.

**SKILLS & EXPERTISE**
- Be degree level qualified in a related marketing or communications discipline;
- Have a good understanding of writing copy for digital marketing;
- Experience using Wordpress and SEO tools such as SEMrush and AHrefs;
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail as well as creative thinking and problem-solving skills;
- Proven ability to collaborate with and develop buy-in from key stakeholders;
- Excellent project management skills;
- Be able to work as part of a team and in partnership with other internal and external teams;
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet targets and adhere to tight deadlines;
- Ability to cope under pressure, with minimum supervision and ability to prioritise workloads.
