FB Rice represents an extensive range of loyal local and international clients, with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and New Zealand.About the roleThis is an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join our highly successful Finance team in Sydney.
Please note that we will consider applications from Melbourne or Brisbane.The Accounts Receivable Officer will manage and oversee the firm's receivables, ensuring accurate and timely collection of outstanding invoices.
This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.Responsibilities include:Respond promptly to client queriesRegularly review and reconcile client accounts to ensure all transactions are accurately recordedInvestigate and resolve any discrepancies between client records and internal accountsAccurately process and record all incoming payments dailyProactively manage and follow up on aged debtor accounts to recover outstanding debtsQualifications and Experience Required:Solid understanding of accounts payable and receivable functions (2 - 3 years' experience)Minimum of 3 years computerised accounting experienceExperience in professional servicesCompetence with computerised systems including Excel and OutlookExcellent written and verbal communication skillsIntermediate to advanced MS Word, Excel and OutlookIt is desirable for candidate to have:Exposure to multi-currency transactionsExperience of monitoring unbilled disbursement and recoveries balancesCulture and BenefitsJoin our inclusive and people-focussed culture.
