**About the role**:
Joining GEO Healthcare, the Manager, Contract & Performance is a key member of the Safety & Quality Team and will support GEO Healthcare's delivery of Primary Healthcare Services to men's public prisons in Victoria.
Based at GEO Healthcare's Head Office, located in Melbourne's CBD, you will report to the Director, Safety & Quality with the role responsible for assisting in ensuring GEO Healthcare complies with legislative and contractual obligations.
You will assist in establishing mechanisms to monitor, report, evaluate and improve the organisation's performance using the State's Key Performance Measures (KPMs) and other metrics and in the coordination, compilation and provision of reports to the State in accordance with the service specifications and contractual requirements. You will contribute towards the development and implementation of corporate and clinical governance systems and processes and assist in coordinating service-wide accreditation against the _National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards. _
While being supported and led by the Senior Leadership Team, you will contribute to a positive and productive workplace culture and carry out all duties in accordance with the GEO Healthcare Values - Understanding, Respect, Accountability, Teamwork, Excellence. The role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy and exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to support the provision of high-quality services and to promote GEO Healthcare as an employer of choice.
You may be required to, at times, attend any of the 13 GEO Healthcare locations and The GEO Group Australia Pty Ltd Head Office in Sydney NSW as required.
By successfully contributing the transition of provider and continuing to deliver and exceed the role's key accountabilities, you will actively support a service that will achieve positive healthcare outcomes for people in prison which is a key element in reducing recidivism across the prison system.
**Skills and Experience**:
- Experience in clinical governance, quality improvement, project management and health service accreditation.
- Experience and/or demonstrated capacity to monitor the performance of an organisation against contractual requirements, including Key Performance Measures.
- Demonstrated experience with assisting in analysing and monitoring compliance with legislative and contractual obligations; and the development and compilation of contractually required reports.
- Experience in assisting the implementation of corporate and clinical governance systems in health services/environments.
- Experience in using incident, complaint and risk management systems, including the analysing of data and development of reports.
- Experience and/or demonstrate capacity to assist in the coordination of service-wide accreditation to the National Safety and Quality in Health Service Standards or other health service-related standards.
- Experience and/or demonstrated capacity to assist in coordinating the development, implementation and monitoring of corporate and clinical policy and procedures.
- Proven ability to organise and prioritise effectively.
- Solid communication, teamwork and people skills, to ensure relationships are established and maintained with relevant staff and stakeholders to support high quality services and professional practice.
- Appropriate understanding and skills in the use of Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and willingness to promote cultural awareness.

**Desirable**
- Experience in a complex, multi-site health service business.
**Other Requirements of the role**:
- Ability to work within a correctional setting.
- Valid and current full Australian driver's licence.
- Satisfactory completion of a National Criminal History Check.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Working outside of ordinary hours may be required.
