Think HQ is a fast-growing, award-winning agency solely committed to social impact and behaviour change campaigns, and we are seeking a Motion Designer with strong animation skills to join our team.

The Motion Designer will be responsible for delivering strong, insightful and tailored motion graphics using their strong creative background while working on our clients' projects from concept to completion.

Our office is based in South Melbourne and we work with a range of clients across government, non-profit and private industry. We are full service - including public relations, advertising, content, design, animation, film and audio production. Our skills are diverse, but we're united by our uncompromised mission to work solely on projects that deliver positive outcomes for people, the planet, and places.

If you have a positive attitude, a good portfolio demonstrating your artistic skills and at least three years of experience in the field, we encourage you to apply

**Responsibilities**:

- Demonstrate interest or background in art and graphic design, with a portfolio that showcases your work.
- Has strong technical skills and proven ability to use a variety of motion graphics related software and techniques, including 2D and 3D.
- Prepare design plan, concept and layout for motion graphic project.
- Produce motion graphics for various media and platforms, from concept to delivery.
- Work with art and creative teams to understand project scope and objectives.
- Work with art directors, production managers and other designers to resolve technical and or design issues.
- Edit raw video footage and add effects/elements to enhance motion graphics.
- Research and analyse best design techniques and solutions to create motion graphics.
- Assist in designing and creating storyboards.
- Participate in a brainstorming session to share new design perspectives and ideas.
- Maintain and follow best practices for versioning control, naming convention and organization of graphic files.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge about the latest design techniques and trends.

**Required Skills**:

- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe After Effects
- 2D Animation
- 3D modelling, texturing and animation skills
- 3D Software (preferable Blender)
- Understanding of concepts behind web animation using CSS, JavaScript (GreenSock, Three.JS, Anime.JS), Lottie and Animate
- Knowledge of interactive tools such as Unity3D and Unreal Engine desired but not essential
