The role :
Manage and maintain technical processes to assess and review projects, assist Managers, and oversee operational management of QHSE Systems.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and governing bodies to meet client and project needs.
Responsibilities :
Assess project documentation, liaise with clients, and recommend compliance with the Building Act, Regulations, and Building Code of Australia to facilitate building permits efficiently.
Manage documentation, ensuring job files and office systems are completed accurately and promptly.
Prepare technical reports on compliance requirements and recommendations.
Ensure timely and accurate communication with authorities and councils.
Assist the Business Unit team with daily project management and assessment.
What's needed?
Ideally, you will have:
Completed or nearing completion of a university degree or equivalent in construction recognized by AIBS/RICS.
Technical competence suitable for a Graduate Building Surveyor role.
Ability to manage workload effectively.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Effective communication skills and ability to work independently.
Initiative to improve processes and procedures.
