**Description**:
**The Role**:
Cater Care seeks to appoint a Catering Assistant at one of our key aged care residences in North Sydney.
**Roster**: Position 1 - 23.5 hours - Monday - 7am -2.00pm
- tuesday 3pm
- 7.30pm
- wednesday - 3pm -7.30pm
- thursday - 4pm
- 7.30pm
- friday 3pm
- 7.30pm
Position 2 - 20 hours Wednesday 7am - 2.00pm-Thursday 3pm
- 7.30pm
- Friday 3pm
- 7.30pm-Saturday 3pm
- 7.30pm
**What This Role Involves**:
Assisting with food preparation
Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude
Prepare and present texture modified foods
**Skills and Experiences**:
Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
