**Role Description/Criteria**

OLSH College Bentleigh is an independent Catholic secondary school for girls with a commitment to the mission of Catholic education. Administered by the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, the College is built on a tradition of 86 years of inspiring excellence at the Heart of girls' education.

We are currently seeking a full-time, ongoing teacher to take on the Position of Leadership (POL) role of:
**HEAD OF DEPARTMENT SPORT (POL 2)**

**Commencing Term 1, 2025**

OLSH College has proud history of sporting participation and achievement, we offer oportunities for our students to be the best they can be, whichever sport they choose to do.

The Head of Department Sport is responsible for the strategic development, leadership, management, and administration of the sports program across the College. This role involves fostering a love of sports throughout the College and increasing student participation in both representative teams and internal sporting teams, including House competitions.

**The successful applicant will hold Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration or qualify for this registration and have the right to work in Australia.**
