Cadet Drafter

Cardno now Stantec currently has an opportunity for a motivated Cadet Drafter (Bridge Structures) to join an established team of Project Managers, Engineers, Designers and Drafters based in our Perth office. You will work with a team of structural designers and engineers to deliver dynamic drafting solutions in all facets of bridge/ civil infrastructure projects.

Although no previous experience is required, we are on the hunt for passionate people who enjoy modelling and drafting, and are able to demonstrate a commitment to continued learning.

**Job Description**:
Cardno now Stantec currently has an opportunity for a motivated Cadet Drafter (Bridge Structures) to join an established team of Project Managers, Engineers, Designers and Drafters based in our Perth office. You will work with a team of structural designers and engineers to deliver dynamic drafting solutions in all facets of bridge/ civil infrastructure projects.

As a Cadet Drafter, you will
- Learn all facets of CAD, drafting and design techniques and gain skills in relevant computer programs;- Work under the guidance of our Engineers and Designers on structural engineering projects; and- Provide accurate and efficient drafting services for the Business Unit in accordance with project times and budgets, with detailed supervision.

About you

To be successful you will display
- Limited experience or a keen interest in drafting and design in the civil and structural space-
- Intermediate skills in MS Office (MS Word and MS Excel)- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment- An ability to problem solve and manage your time effectively
- Educational and work experience that is preferred include_:
- Diploma of Civil and Structural Engineering (completed or undertaking), and/or- Advanced Diploma of Engineering (completed or undertaking)
