**About Us**: Unidex Healthcare is a privately owned recruitment company established in 2020, operating across Australia with main offices in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, and Queensland. We specialize in recruiting for all areas of healthcare, focusing on Disability Services, Support Services, and Allied Health.

**The Role**: We are seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to assist a female participant in Clayfield, QLD, who sustained a spinal cord injury from a motor vehicle accident.

Our participant also has a history of mental health including anxiety, depression, complex PTSD, BPD and OCD.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with personal care and hygiene
- Provide domestic assistance
- Catheter management
- Bowel management
- Skin integrity management
- Plan, transport, and accompany the participant to community access, health, and rehabilitation appointments
- Provide companionship and emotional support

**Shift Hours**:

- Monday to Sunday
- Day Shift: 8am to 10am (sometimes the time could be extended depending on the appointments that the client may have)
- Afternoon Shift: 6pm to 08.30pm.

**Compensation**:

- Day Shift: $40.00 per hour
- Afternoon shift: $44.00 per hour
- Saturday shift: $56.00 per hour
- Sunday shift: $72.00 per hour
- Travel Allowance: $0.99 per km (for medical-related travel)

**Skills & Experience Required**:

- Valid Australian Driver's License
- Certificate III in Individual Support
- Current Police Clearance
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification
- Current Blue Card
- Current NDIS Worker Screening
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Completion of NDIS Support Effective Communication Module
- Third Party Compulsory Insurance
- Reliable, proactive, and positive attitude
- Please note: Two current references are required._
