PHE Mining is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Trade Assistant to join our team on a fixed term project contract basis.
This role will be based at a mine site in NSW on a 2 & 1 roster, 12-hour days.
We encourage candidates from Orange and Bathurst as well as nearby areas or those willing to relocate to apply.PHE is an Industrial Electrical Contractor that undertakes large scale projects in regional and remote areas nationally.
The role involves providing support to our electrical construction teams to prepare for the electrical and instrumentation installation of an underground hard rock mine.If you strive to be an integral part of a team that contributes to building some of the nation's most important projects, then this is the perfect role for you.ABOUT THE ROLE:Complete an infrastructure project on an underground crusherAssist in the installation of ventilation systems, including ductwork, fans, and air handling units.Aid in the assembly and installation of ductwork, ensuring proper sizing and connections.Support the installation and maintenance of ventilation fans, motors, and associated componentsAssist in gathering and organizing materials needed for electrical projects.ABOUT YOU:Previous underground mining experiencePrevious experience as an electrical TACommitted to maintaining our safety cultureFlexible attitude to work with all our crewsIs able to pass a full medical and fitness testYou will hold or obtain the followingC class driver's licenseHigh-Risk Work License - with WPWhite Construction CardWorking at Heights (current within 18 months)Hold or be able to obtain a National Police CheckABOUT PHE:PHE has 50 years' history providing safe, rewarding, long-term employment in regional and remote areas.
