As apart of this role you will be required to travel between Mawson Lakes (70%), Osborne (25%) & St Kilda (5%).
Key responsibilities include:Coordinate the receipt, inspection, and handling of incoming Combat System items, ensuring documentation is complete and aligned with project expectations.Support inventory updates, while maintaining accurate record keeping.Help coordinate material movements between sites, including preparing items for transport and ensuring safe handling procedures are followed.Assist in the compilation and quality checks of connector kits under direction of engineering teams.Prepare and submit asset tracking and stocktake reports for review by the Supply Support Lead.Support site inspections and depopulation activities at designated locations (e.g., St Kilda, warehouses).
Provide direct support to the DDG Supply Chain team and the Supply Support Lead.Highlight and escalate risks that could impact Receipt of Material in Yard (RMIY) milestones.About YOUPrevious experience in warehousing, logistics, or inventory coordination (Defence experience preferred but not essential).
Familiarity with inventory or material management systems (e.g., Excel, SharePoint, MILIS desirable).
Exposure to Defence logistics, hazmat, or demil processes is an advantage.Experience supporting multi-stakeholder delivery environments.Ability to work both independently and under close supervision.Strong written and verbal communication skills.We believe in hiring for potential, we know that some candidates hesitate if they don't tick all the boxes.
