The
Role Applications are invited from
qualified classroom teachers for a specialist role teaching VCE
Economics at our Caulfield Campus.
The candidate will be enthusiastic, possess a
forward-thinking mindset, and demonstrate aspirational teaching
practices.
This is a full time 12-month fixed
term 1.0 FTE position commencing January 2026.
The successful applicant will
demonstrate a passion for engaging and challenging students and for
utilising learning technologies.
This position is for an educator with expertise in VCE
Economics and a passion to support students with financial
literacy.
Versatility to draw upon skills and experience teaching
Business Management or Legal Studies will be an advantage.
Key
Duties Review and assess students at the beginning of each program Integrate Formative Practice Techniques Provide a flexible program that caters for individual students Deliver learning programs that demonstrate a research based knowledge of how students learn Evaluate personal teaching and learning programs including feedback from students and assessment data to inform planning Model high expectations to enable a safe and supportive classroom culture Provide reports within school standards and timelines Actively participate in professional development activities Embrace a culture of collaboration to enhance student learning Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours Skills and
Experience Experience in teaching Commerce with experience in VCE Economics essential.
Versatility to teach Business Management or Legal Studies will be an advantage.
Genuine enthusiasm for teaching and commitment to students' academic and personal growth Outstanding communication skills and the ability to effectively and engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
Committed to ongoing professional development, keeping up-to-date with current economic trends and developments, and maintaining a proactive attitude.
Holds a current VIT Registration along with specialised teaching qualifications in Commerce or related fields.
