**The company**
A subsidiary of a major Australian organisation, this supplier of medical consumables operates all the systems and processes of a large firm, including SAP.

**The role**
Report to the National Supply Chain Manager and work within an established supply chain team of three. Stakeholders include local and regional sales and marketing, finance and purchasing teams and overseas vendors.

**The responsibilities**
You will have responsibility for:

- maintaining stock availability of 420 SKUs with 40 vendors.
- managing the monthly demand planning process and developing forecast models for S&OP meetings.
- assessing historical and forecast data, researching demand drivers, identifying trends and investigating variances to plan.
- preparing inventory strategies related to existing and new products, phase-outs and source changes.
- owning supply planning and distribution activities.
- analysing low stock cover situations and facilitating corrective action.
- raising purchase orders in SAP for the regional office and updating delivery dates.
- preparing weekly back order reports and providing advice related to stock availability and release of back orders.
- have a minimum of 2 years' experience in supply planning.
- be competent with MS Excel, as a minimum V&H look up and pivot tables.
- have experience with SAP or Oracle.
- be able to commence the role at very short notice.

**The rewards**
Our client is offering an hourly rate of $45-$50 per hour. In addition they can offer hybrid working arrangements, flexibility around start and finish times and undercover parking at the St Leonards office.
