**Medical Freight Driver / Offsider / Beverage distribution**

Not necessarily seeking a career driver, this is a unique role that requires above and beyond a run-of-the-mill parcel driver, or someone at that level prepared to learn important systems and can maintain excellent customer relations in a challenging but rewarding line of work. It's not a standard job and a number of non-driving specific skills can be useful in this role, and the driving component can be taught if needed.

The main job will involve transporting sensitive but not dangerous freight to commercial locations in the ACT. The ability to work Saturdays is ideal, but can be balanced with a shorter day or day off Monday etc. There is also a chance to work with other contractors if you would like more hours or variety.

As the role is being made ahead of time, there is a degree of flexibility as far as which vehicle you can operate, hours, and other conditions as such.

We are seeking someone to operate either a 4 ton truck (manual/car license) or 1 ton van (auto). The work involves sorting, loading, and delivering cartons, plastic totes, and smaller sensitive items.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Working rights
- Have or be able to begin Blue card certification (can be sponsored)
- Complete onboarding and E-learning course via a larger company we directly contract to
- Current Australian drivers license with no major offenses (DUIs, dangerous driving, excessive speed etc.) You will need to obtain a record if you get the job.
- Must be ok with early starts (5am-6am)
- Must be able to comply with random testing for illicit drugs on site. Any failure will result in immediate termination.

DESIRABLE
- Heavy vehicle license, Manual license, forklift license
- Experience in the medical industry (Pharmacy, Hospital, Drug Manufacturing, any level)
- Experience in driving, transport, or manual jobs of any kind
- WWVP card

The right person will have an excellent attitude to work, an ability to take care and maintain excellent attention to detail, and be able to engage with customers in a positive manner.

**Salary**: $23.19 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
