Our security capabilities span governance, risk and compliance (GRC, our Advisory capability), cyber engineering, and offensive security.
We enable large-scale cyber security initiatives for our clients and improve the protection of IT environments.About the roleThis position will have a wide remit, covering leading client engagements, stakeholder management, pre-sales, and delivery of solutions and consulting projects.
The role will both deliver direct consulting services to clients in the area of security architecture, as well as act as a bridge between the Advisory and Engineering teams, ensuring that the technical solutions we recommend and deliver to clients will achieve the strategic objectives intended.A strong background in Infrastructure, data and/or application security is required, along with experience in security architecture, solution design and a broad range of security controls and solutions.
The role requires a proven ability to develop security solution designs, as well as to integrate and configure security tools into new or existing software delivery pipelines.Your day to dayLeading large scale security review projects for enterprise customersSpecifying and negotiating security requirements on projects, reviewing current policies and procedures for applicability, and effectiveness.Providing industry experience and recommendation across a wide range of technologies and solutionsSupporting clients with technology rationalisation, vendor selection and solution designCloud Security - experience in reviewing, designing and implementing secure solutions on one or more major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google)Architect, design, build and deploy data, application and infrastructure security solutions in cloud environmentsProviding compliance assurance and definition for security processes, including and not limited to SOC2 / ISO / APRA / ISM / PCI-DSSWork closely with security partners including Google, Microsoft, AWS, and other specialised partners across the cybersecurity marketConduct Security Review Processes for:Security Architecture and DesignSecure CodingSecurity TestingSoftware Development Life CycleWhat you'll need to be successfulExperience in security architecture, specifically in designing security solutions and control implementation, and ideally in cloud and / or hybrid environmentsExcellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to liaise with and influence diverse stakeholder groupsWillingness to continually upskill; including learning new technologies and obtaining new certificationsExperience in mentoring and leading junior consultantsExperience in leading teams and projectsBring a positive can-do attitude to the team, with a developer-friendly problem solving orientation (shifting security left)Experience working in regulated environmentsExcellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to liaise with and influence diverse stakeholder groupsNice to haveRelevant Industry certifications (e.g. SABSA, CISSP, CISM, CCSK, IRAP, etc.)Cloud experience or certifications (e.g. AWS/Azure/GCP)Experience with cloud native technologies and solutionsSoftware development experienceHands-on experience implementing security solutionsExperience working with risk management systems and reporting systems.What you can expect from usWe know you won't have one job for life.
