You will perform preventive maintenance on helicopters and tiltrotor aircraft, operational rotor checks, and testing for electrical and hydraulic systems to ensure they are ready to go wherever they need to and complete whatever mission lies ahead.OverviewHelicopter/Tiltrotor Aircraft Maintenance specialists maintain and repair helicopter systems to ensure readiness for missions.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and repair helicopter systems, including rotors, transmissions, landing gear, fuel, hydraulics and electrical.Facilitate launch and recovery, helicopter disassembly/reassembly, and other aspects of movement and storage operations.Adjust, calibrate and align aircraft systems.Prepare aircraft for movement to and from different locations.BenefitsOutstanding free or low-cost healthcare coverage for you and your familyFood and housing assistanceContinuing-education opportunitiesFree or low-cost healthcareWorld-travel opportunitiesQualificationsHS diploma.
Completion of high school is mandatory.
