As part of a newly established team within Technology, the Test Lead is responsible for ensuring quality and reliability of technology solutions by leading the planning, design, execution and management of comprehensive testing activities.
This role also focuses on analysing requirement specifications to verify that technology solutions align with business needs and perform as expected through detailed methodical testing practices.In addition, this role will contribute to the growth and maturity of the company's testing and quality assurance capabilities by supporting the creation of standards, tools, and methodologies that drive consistency and best practices across projects and teams.Key Accountabilities (Not Limited To):Develop detailed test plans outlining scope, approach, resources and schedulesReview and analyse functional and non-functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria to develop clear, traceable test cases that align with business objectivesDevelop detailed test scripts, including clear step-by-step instructions and expected outcomes to ensure consistent and repeatable test executionManage the end-to-end execution of testing activities across various cycles including functional, non-functional, integration, system and user acceptance testingRecord and analyse testing activities performed and resultsIdentify, log, track and manage defects ensuring clear documentation and timely resolution through collaboration with development teams, business representatives and project teamsProvide reports on progress, anomalies, risks and issues associated with testing activities and the overall projectProvide reports on system quality and collection of metrics to establish performance baselinesEngage and maintain strong, ongoing communication with all stakeholders to align on project goals, priorities and outcomesWork closely with project managers, cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure successful delivery of technology solutionsDevelop and champion testing and quality assurance standards, tools and methodologies to drive consistency, quality and best practice across the organisationMaintain detailed documentation of project deliverables, testing procedures and artifactsSupport project activities, change management and training efforts to drive adoption and smooth transitionThe ideal candidate will have previous experience working in Operational Technology within a critical infrastructure environment.Hit the Apply Now tab and share your CV for a confidential chat.
