About the role
We currently have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a
Coal Haulage (Contract Management) Superintendent
to join our team. The Surface Operations team consists of the Broadlea open cut mine, the CHPP and the road train coal haulage from Ironbark No 1 underground and Broadlea open cut operations.
The successful Coal Haulage Superintendent will be reporting to the Open Cut Operations Manager/SSE as part of a small team that lead the operations at Broadlea.
The key function of this role will be:
Contract Management
: Oversee haulage contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and performance standards.
Operational Oversight
: Manage day-to-day haulage operations, coordinating with mining, processing, and logistics teams.
Safety and Compliance
: Ensure adherence to Fitzroy SHMS and environmental standards in haulage activities.
Performance Monitoring
: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to haulage efficiency, cost, and timeliness.
Budget Management
: Develop and manage budgets for haulage operations, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Continuous Improvement
: Implement strategies for improving haulage processes, including technology integration and process optimization.
