OverviewPosition Title: Liaison Manager – (Part of Management Trainee Program)Department: Mobility BusinessPosition Overview:We are seeking a proactive and strategic Liaison Manager to act as the key interface between our local operations and our Chinese OEM partner(s) in the fast-evolving mobility sector.
This role will be critical in bridging cross-border communication, ensuring operational alignment, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to support business growth, service excellence, and strategic partnership goals.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Coordination & Partnership ManagementServe as the primary communication bridge between local teams and the Chinese OEM headquarters and regional representatives.Translate business needs, project requirements, and timelines across both organizations to ensure mutual understanding and alignment.Coordinate joint initiatives, product launches, service rollouts, and operational escalations.KPI Monitoring & Performance TrackingDefine and monitor core KPIs for mobility services (e.g., fleet utilization, downtime, customer satisfaction, SLA adherence).
Compile regular performance reports and dashboards for both internal stakeholders and OEM counterparts.Identify gaps and lead cross-functional problem-solving to improve operational outcomes.Cross-Functional Alignment & Issue ResolutionFacilitate alignment across operations, product, supply chain, and service teams.Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks or misalignments between the local operation and the OEM.Coordinate translation of technical, commercial, or strategic information as needed.Cultural & Communication FacilitationEnsure cultural nuances and communication styles are respected and interpreted effectively in cross-border settings.Support business meetings, negotiation processes, and site visits involving Chinese-speaking stakeholders.Project & Process ManagementTrack joint project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.Support implementation of operational improvements and ensure adoption of best practices aligned with OEM expectations.Help local teams understand and adopt OEM-led innovations, processes, and standards.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in business, Engineering, International Relations, or related field (Master's preferred).3+ years of experience in liaison, partnership management, or operations roles—ideally in the mobility, automotive, or technology sectors.Familiarity with Chinese OEM business practices and culture is strongly preferred.Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken) is essential.Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skillsAnalytical mindset with ability to interpret KPI dashboardsProject management experience across cross-functional teamsHigh cultural intelligence and diplomacyProactive, organized, and solution-oriented approachExcellent written and verbal communicationSeniority levelAssociateEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionProject ManagementIndustries: Retail Motor Vehicles, Wholesale Motor Vehicles and Parts, and Motor Vehicle Manufacturing
