Job Description
The role of Data Integration Specialist is a vital position within our organization. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing data integration solutions in a Teradata environment.
You will develop ETL/ELT jobs using BTEQ, SQL, and Teradata utilities (FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPT). Your expertise will be applied to enhance data models and marts within a large-scale EDW, ensuring seamless data provisioning for reporting and operational needs.
Additionally, you will troubleshoot and tune Teradata queries for performance, collaborating closely with analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and optimize data integration solutions in a Teradata environment
Develop ETL/ELT jobs using BTEQ, SQL, and Teradata utilities (FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPT)
Enhance data models and marts within a large-scale EDW
Support data provisioning for reporting and operational needs
Troubleshoot and tune Teradata queries for performance
Required Technical Skills:
Advanced experience with Teradata (Vantage preferred)
Strong SQL, BTEQ, and Teradata utilities knowledge
Solid understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modeling
Familiarity with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, DataStage)
Experience with workload tuning and performance optimization
